National Quality Framework

The National Quality Framework (NQF) establishes a unified approach to regulation, assessment, and quality enhancement for early childhood education and care, as well as outside school hours care services across Australia.

The NQF is comprised of:

• National Law and National Regulations
• National Quality Standard
• Assessment and quality rating process
• National learning frameworks

Research indicates that high-quality education and care early in a child’s life lead to improved health, education, and employment outcomes later on. The early years are crucial for developing self-esteem, resilience, healthy growth, and learning capacity. The superior education and care provided at Elles Belles Early Learning are pivotal in shaping each child’s future and laying the foundation for their ongoing development and learning.

Key benefits for parents and children include:

• Improved educator-to-child ratios, ensuring more individual care and attention for children
• Educators with higher skills and qualifications
• Improved support for children’s learning and development through approved learning frameworks
• Consistent, transparent information about educators, providers, and services in the national registers
