Hi, my name is Alexis, and I’m the Director at the Elles Belles Ormond campus. I have been part of the Elles Belles family since 2022.
Throughout my career in the early childhood sector, I have worked as an Assistant Educator, Room Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and now Director. Each role has strengthened my passion for early childhood education and my commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment for children, families, and educators.
My philosophy is centred around building strong, trusting relationships, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, heard, and has a true sense of belonging. I believe children learn best through play, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to explore their own interests. I also love incorporating the natural environment into our learning, as it encourages curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and a deeper connection with the world around us.
As a leader, I am passionate about supporting and mentoring our team while building genuine partnerships with families. I believe that by working together with kindness, empathy, and respect, we can create a community where every child feels confident to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Outside of the centre, I am a proud mum to two beautiful boys. Becoming a parent has deepened my understanding of the trust families place in us each day and continues to inspire the way I lead, support our team, and nurture every child who walks through our doors. Hello, my name is Meray, and I am the Assistant Director and Educational Leader.
I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and have been working in the industry since 2019. Working with children is my passion, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such an important stage in their learning and development.
I am passionate about creating an environment where children feel safe, respected and inspired to learn. Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families and educators is the core of my practice, as I believe these connections create the best foundation for the children to thrive.
I enjoy being creative and providing the children with different opportunities to express themselves through open-ended and hands-on experiences. Whether it’s making playdough, slime or exploring messy play, I believe children learn best when they are encouraged to investigate, experiment and have fun in a supportive environment.
As Educational Leader, I am committed to supporting our team to reflect on their practice, embrace continuous improvement and provide meaningful learning experiences that are guided by each child’s interests, strengths and abilities. I believe that by working closely with families and educators, we can create a welcoming community where every child feels a sense of belonging and is supported to reach their full potential.

Hi my name is Rima and I have been a chef since 2009, with five of those years being in childcare a childcare setting. I enjoy cooking nutritional food full of flavour and various cuisines for children of all ages. Food is my passion and I love to travel the world and get to know all the different cultures and try their delicious food. As a mother of 3, I believe it’s essential to introduce children to different food items, ingredients and cuisines. We should also teach our children where different foods come from, how they are grown and how they are prepared. The kitchen is a wonderful place that’s full of love and joy. It brings people together, it makes me happy and it helps us grow.
