Introducing Michelle Sous who is excited to be taking on the role of Cheltenham Campus Director. Michelle has been in the Child Care industry for 10 years and began her journey as an assistant educator. While working she completed her Diploma in Early Childhood and progressed to Room Leader followed by Assistant Director. During her time as a Room Leader, she thoroughly enjoyed mentoring the team and challenging them to be the best educators they could be. Michelle prides herself on building trusting relationships with families and believes in open communication to best support the children, families and the team.

Courtney Mercer

Courtney is part of Elles Belles Leadership team, and manages the Educational Program, for both the Cheltenham and Ormond Campus. Courtney’s role as an Educational Leader ensures that each child who is enrolled at either service, is given the opportunity to be part of the educational program within Elles Belles. After 4 years in the long day care sector, Courtney has successfully managed a toddler room, mentored new educators, along with leading a team of passionate educators. Courtney’s desire for compliance and best practice, allows her to ensure that the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework is executed to a high standard, which involves critiquing audits, monitoring children’s portfolios, and supporting educators by scaffolding their knowledge at both services. Courtney holds her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and continues to update her own industry knowledge by completing numerous professional development courses. Courtney’s passion and enthusiasm, lies in making sure the children have a wondrous, nurturing environment, that allows them to discover, explore and be curious to grow into successful little learners. Courtney’s favorite part of being an Educator and Educational Leader, is building strong, devoted and trusting relationships with children, along with supporting and guiding Educators in providing an educational program that can lead children into a pathway that allows them to have a strong sense of well-being, and develop into amazing little leaders.
